Reviews about Party & Gift

My girlfriend and I were throwing a New Year's Eve Party and had already gone to Party City and stocked up on most of everything we needed, except for the party set (which includes hats, tiaras, horns, etc.) because the price for a set for 50 people was around $160. That was a bit pricey for our measly budget so we decided to try this Party Wholesalers, which we had passed by numerous times but had never stopped at. We're both ecstatic we did because their prices are half to two-thirds the price of the same (or similar) stuff that Party City has. We got the exact same set for 50 for about $90, and the prices were so much cheaper for everything else that we ended up returning much of what we had already bought to Party City and instead buying it here. Another price example -- the glow stick necklaces were $10 for a set of 10 at Party City; here they were $25 for a set of 50. The glow stick bracelets were 100 for $9 here (I didn't see them at Party City, but I'm pretty sure they can't beat that price). Plastic champagne glasses for a set of 40 was about $6 at Party City; about $4 at Party Wholesalers for the exact same set. The only downside to Party Wholesalers (and the reason for 4 stars and not 5) is that their selection for New Year's was not quite as fleshed out as Party City's, mainly as regards decorations. But you can stock up on the majority of things here, and then go to Party City and pick and choose the unique things they have and save a lot of money in the process. Overall, the store was huge, I'd say larger square-footage-wise than Party City (at least the few I've been to), though their shelves weren't as fully stocked. Well worth it to stop here first. I wrote this review because I was surprised more people hadn't talked about it considering how good their prices are, and thought it would help other people save money like we did if I help get the word out.
